Former FBI Director James Comey rejects a subpoena from House Judiciary Chair Bob Goodlatte.

This practices the chairman issued subpoenas Tuesday, for Comey and former Attorney General Loretta Lynch.

Republicans around the panel need to press the happy couple about their decision-making while in the 2016 presidential race, and tend to be hoping Comey will appear for the deposition to the 29th, and lynch on December 5th.

They particularly wish to ask Comey why he could not recommend charges against failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton on her behalf private emails.

This is definitely the second time Comey has rejected a request to testify behind closed-doors, and House Republicans may endeavor to hold him in contempt.
