Republican Senator Mike Lee recently blocked a vote with a bill that will have protected special counsel Robert Mueller from being fired.

Senator Lee objected on the legislation Wednesday, claiming it had constitutional issues.
Under Senate rules, one senator is needed to block a ask a vote on legislation.
This adheres to Senators Jeff Flake, Chris Coons and Cory Booker took to the Senate floor in an attempt to force a vote to the bill for any second time.
Flake has previously said he previously not prefer judicial nominees up until the legislation to cover Mueller was voted on.
