Sheffield financial planner Jillian Thomas have been shortlisted for a prestigious business award.

Jillian, who will be managing director of Future Life Wealth Management at Renishaw, near Sheffield, continues to be nominated within the leadership category for the Yorkshire Post Excellence operating Awards. The leadership accolade recognises someone who has displayed courage, tenacity and wisdom in the tough role.

BBC Breakfast and Watchdog broadcaster Steph McGovern will show the award ceremony, that could transpire for the New Dock Hall in Leeds on 2 November.

Jillian said: “It’s an exquisite feeling to get shortlisted for this sort of prestigious award, for really anticipating increasing against fellow leaders for that accolade. Running a successful company is not easy, and you are confronted by tough decisions and challenges each and every day.
