Allied Protek Engineering Solutions, based in Grimsby, has secured new funding streams from Barclays, allowing the organization to develop its ongoing expansion plans.
Established in 2013, the organization delivers engineering projects, getting work done in partnership with customers to support their installation and project work.
The new funding from Barclays will provide the flexibleness for that business to tender for bigger contracts in addition to supporting the expansion with their sister company Humber Recruitment.
Allied Protek employs over 100 staff across sites in Grimsby and Manchester and turnover to your year predicted to exceed 11m.
Paul Wilson, md of Allied Protek Engineering Solutions Ltd, says: “We’ve recently seen a rise in orders both in the british isles and overseas and the new funding stream will enable us to develop our manufacturing and testing capabilities.
“We’ve been working closely with customers to design and develop bespoke equipment solutions that may provide us with the product and manufacturing platform we’ve been looking for.
“With Barclays help we’ve got invested heavily in this manufacturing facilities and product development.
He adds: “Our sister company, Humber Recruitment specialises in recruitment for the engineering and manufacturing sector and it has also taken advantage of new funding.
“We’ve seen rapid growth here bringing a different dimension to our own business enabling us provide additional space and consultants to meet up with demand.”
