ISG has scooped a 2.5 million contract to refurbish and extend the Hambleton Leisure Centre in Northallerton.

The project C awarded by Alliance Leisure C can cause a different 5,100 sq . ft . extension towards complex allowing the present gym space for being evolved into studios.

The refurbishment on the existing centre should include repair and upgrade functions to the existing water slides, flumes and wave machine inside pool area.

The changing facilities also are upgraded the actual addition of the latest members’ change area.

Andy McLinden, Managing Director of ISG’s UK Construction North and Scotland business, said: “We experienced a framework agreement with Alliance Leisure since 2010, that is built around Sport England’s should engage folks in fitness initiatives.

“This is putting government-funded provision in direct competition while using the commercial sector when they now boast top of the range facilities.”

The centre is due for completion at the conclusion of all seasons.
