Dan Millichip, a Tax Assistant Manager within the Leicester office of business and financial adviser Grant Thornton UK LLP, has scooped top-notch national award with the UK’s leading professional body for tax advisors, the Chartered Institute of Taxation (CIOT).

He have been awarded The John Wood Medal, furnished by the CIOT in recognition in the highest mark from the Advisory Paper on Advanced Corporation Tax, in the Chartered Tax Advisory examinations that Dan took in May.

As along with the special Award, Dan’s top marks have won him a Distinction for his ‘exceptional level’ of achievement and standard of his examination paper, producing the sole candidate from over the UK to get this done highest mark from the paper nationally, and one of only four from much more than 1000 candidates making the exams this coming year.
