President Trump’s pick by sitting on the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is continuing to move forward within the confirmation process.

The Senate panel tasked with overseeing the nomination of Bernard McNamee decided largely along party lines Tuesday to mail his bid for the floor for any full Senate vote.

West Virginia Senator Joe Manchin was the sole Democrat to vote in favor of McNamee, who may have been criticized over his support of classic fuels.

McNamee currently functions as a senior official along at the United states doe.

If confirmed because of the Senate, he’ll almost certainly replace Commissioner Robert Powelson, who have been a vocal critic on the Trump administration’s decide to save coal and nuclear energy.
