Rotherham pallet and packaging business Whirlowdale Trading have been acquired by Fife-based Scott Group.
The Group said the deal expands its accessibility collection of sustainable pallet solutions available from its existing brands.
The combined both companies is anticipated to deliver customers across a diverse choice of industry sectors in most components of united kingdom.
Alan Gibson, Scott Pallets’ Md, said: “The combined businesses will deliver enhanced security of supply through admission to our exceptionally more successful, different and controlled reconditioned pallet supply chains.
“WTC may be a well-invested business by using a particular strength in reconditioned pallet trading and facilities including situated near commercial establishments sites, automated pallet production facilities, all adding significant service capability to our current offer.”
Former Whirlowdale owner Andrew Pearce will on as Director on the company.
Whirlowdale currently employs 85 staff and operates its pallet manufacturing and reconditioned business from eight locations including its Rotherham HQ and Lincoln.
